WASHINGTON: Eminent Indian-American Arunachala "Raj" Nagarajan has been presented with the national flag flown
over the US Capitol in recognition of his contribution to the country and to mark the 50th anniversary of his arrival in the United States.
At a ceremony at the Capitol Hill this week, Texas lawmaker Lamar Smith presented to Nagarajan, also from Texas, a certificate and
flag flown over the US Capitol on September 9, 2012, the date of his 50th anniversary travel to the US.
"At the request of the Honorable Lamar Smith, member of Congress, this flag was flown to commemorate Arunachala 'Raj' Nagarajan's
50th Anniversary of his journey to the US to pursue his American Dream," the certificate read.
